Ok so I guess you realize by now I love tofu. Here is a quick tasty dish. I love this combo but anything that has tofu. I’m likely to love. Have fun!
Main Dishes
Buffalo Tofu
Back in the day when I ate meat. Fried chicken well fried anything was my favorite. Frankly it still is. I just don’t eat as much now. I topped this off with a little kimchi sauerkraut to make it even spicer. Did I mention I love spicy food . Of course as always with cooking…
Veggie Scramble
Leftovers for breakfast is always awesome.
Curry Tomato Soup With Onion Nest
This curry tomato soup with onion nest has a subtle hint of curry and spices, the sweetness of the onions give a nice balance to the spice.
Risotto Chicken Fried Artichokes
Risotto with kale and chicken fried artichokes encompasses 2 trips to the pressure cooker which makes what looks to be a time consuming dish very fast. Forty min. for the kale 6 min. for the risotto and about 8 min. for the chicken fried artichokes. Enough chatting. Let’s get to cooking.
Banana Pops
Portobello Cheesesteak
For those of you just making the move from meat here is a great sandwich for you former steak and cheese lovers. The sliced portobello’s onions and green pepper were cooked until very brown. It gives them a more meaty texture.
Blackeye Pea Hummus
The beauty of hummus is you can make it with pretty much any type of bean you like. Black eye peas was my choice with a little spicy kick to it. Totally Crackin!! I like my hummus on Le Pain Des Fleurs quinoa crispbread.
Fried Tomato Burger
This is an updated version of my original tomato burger. I used the batter from my fried artichokes recipe. It gives the tomato a nice crunch. I made a quick spicy sauce with mayo ketchup and some spices and laid it on a homemade burger bun. Recipe at the jump.
